Social media plug-ins, cookies, and related technologies utilized on our website and other online services

Our  use of social network social media plug-ins on its platforms is intended to raise awareness of its activities. The plug-ins are embedded in such a way that visitors to our website/online platforms are as safe as feasible. When a page of this website containing such a plug-in is accessed, the browser of the  visitor/user connects directly to the servers of that specific social network. Those social media networks/services provide the plug-in's content directly to the user's browser and embed it in the website. They learn about the information on the user's browser's IP address and the fact that a particular browser has reached the relevant page of this  website/platform by incorporating this plug-in, even if the users do not have an account or are not currently logged on to those social media services. Such information (including user's  IP address) is sent directly by the user's browser to those services and their storage, which might very well be  located outside of the country of operation of the website/platforms. If a user is logged in to the aforementioned social media services, they can easily link the user's visit to our website to the user's account with their services. The pertinent data is also sent straight to their servers and stored there if users or visitors engage with the plug-in, such as by clicking the action buttons provided there. Additionally, the information is posted on those services and made available to users' connections there. Further uses of this information by those websites might include advertising, market research, and service improvement that are not in consonance  to ours or stand to the contrary.  If  users/visitors do not want those sites to link the data collected through our website to their accounts on concerned social media  services, they must log out there before entering the  website. More information can be found in the privacy policies of the respective social media sites.

In order to uniquely identify user browser websites may transfer one or more cookies—a tiny binary file containing a string of characters—to your computer or other device. The data gathered by "cookies" is anonymous, aggregated research data; and it does not include your name, address, or any other information that would allow someone to get in touch with you by phone, email, or any other means. In order to enhance the efficacy and quality of  service,  cookies may be used to track user trends, remember user preferences, or enhance search results.   They enable a website to recognize your computer each time you return to our site, thereby allowing us to save and keep track of your preferences and to monitor your navigation of our Website’s pages. When you visit our website, your computer may be allocated one or more cookies, to simplify access to our site and to tailor your online experience. We may also use your browser’s internet address information and anonymous-browser history to report information to legitimate  authorities about site accesses and for profiling purposes. This information is generally used to improve the Website’s presentation and utilization. However, the technical information or the information stored in and retrieved via cookies may be linked to the personal data that we or third-party providers we have commissioned store from you (for example, if you have a user account with us or these providers), and therefore perhaps to you personally. Additionally, we employ both our own tools and third-party suppliers' services (which may also use cookies) on our website, especially to enhance its functionality or content (e.g., by integrating maps), gather statistics, and show advertisements.  Please be aware that we have no authority over the third-party provider's use of the data collected by the social plug-ins or how they operate. Please review the privacy policies of these third parties to learn more about how they utilize the personal information that is gathered by your social plug-ins.  Although the majority of browsers allow cookies by default, if you'd prefer, you can configure your browser to either notify you when cookies are set or disable them altogether. If your browser allows, you can always choose to reject these cookies or ask it to alert you when one is being sent. You might not be able to use this website to its full potential if you disable them, though. Third parties, including other promoters with whom we may have a professional relationship, may also place cookies on your computer and may collect anonymous information about you through such cookies. We do  not have access or control over the use of third party cookies. We may also use an e-mail delivery service to send you e-mails. Pixel tags and cookies are used in those e-mail messages to help us measure the effectiveness of our promotions and how visitors use our site.
